Spring Break Essentials by Shotguns & Seashells

I don’t get to go on a tropical Spring Break this year with all my friends because I’ll be in NYC doing interviews for my internship this Fall. I’m basically bummed out that I won’t be able to spend it with my friends but I know I’m going to have a blast in NYC (hoping it will be kinda warm). Just because I don’t get to enjoy the warm tropical weather doesn’t mean I can’t obsess over the SB essentials. I do get to go home the weekend after Spring Break so I will get a little sunshine in!

I bet y’all are wondering where this weeks Sassy Wednesdays was..but I was busy at Market for Sassy Boutique on  Monday and Tuesday so we decided to skip this week!! It was a blast though. I loved getting to see all the Miami Swim and Cabana show rooms. Such a fun show and different atmosphere from when I went to Coterie in New York this spring. Must say I’m not a Miami gal but I definitely embraced it!

Bikini Season

Bikini Season
one // two // three // four // five // six
Besides being addicted to cowboy boots and nail polish, I also happen to be slightly addicted to bikinis.  Since I grew up in Florida I can honestly say that I was in a bikini at least 75% of my childhood, and until I was about 6 I didn’t wear tops (one pieces were never an option in my book either). I still continue to be in a bikini 75% of the time when I’m home but clearly I wear tops now. Summer or winter it doesn’t matter the season — as long as the sun is out! I love nothing more than soaking up the sun and getting vitamin D.
After all getting a tan is the best medicine around!
Hope you enjoy my favorite bikinis!

May Must Haves

may must haves
For me, it’s summertime, not springtime but summertime and I’m kicking it off with neons and prints. I’m in love with these bright prints BUT, I also having been drooling over black tulle skirts for sometime now and I have yet to bite the bullet and make my purchase on one. I have also finally found a pair of rockstud sandals that don’t cost $600+ and ones that still look like they are pretty legit. Also, if you haven’t heard of Anna Beck yet, you are now welcome! She makes ADORABLE bracelets, rings, necklaces, and more that are PERFECT for summertime and reasonably priced!
What are you loving this month?

It’s time for me to start preparing for Spring Break, and if you haven’t noticed I have a thing for green bags! I’ve been using Jergen’s Natural Glow every other day to build up my tan and it really does work, I’m not lying! Mac’s Candy Yum Yum lipstick is a must pink for spring, and will be on my lips! I will also be wearing Essie Blanc on my fingers and Bikini So Teeny on my toes, with a great pair of wedges or sandals!
Happy Spring Break Season!
