Got Kale? Have you ever heard about massaging kale? Ya, me neither but Fast Foodie knows all about it and I suggest you check it out here. A special shout out to Fitz Pullins of The Inventory Room for these adorable tops! I’ve worn mine so much! I’m always so grateful for the people I meet and friends I make from blogging! I honestly couldn’t imagine not having Fast Foodie by my side…she has been nothing but a great support system for Shotguns & Seashells! Plus, what’s better than having fun taking pictures with your bff?
Fast Foodie, originally started her blog to write about food and has decided to branch out and become a lifestyle blog and feature guest posting! I highly suggest checking it out..she’s got fitness, fashion and entertainment. Basically she’s got it all and I’m so proud of how far she has come in the past year! I guess I should mention that Fast Foodie’s name is Parker…LOL!
Above is the gorgeous Parker of FastFoodie.Us…one of my favorite photos of her!
Every girl needs a Little Black Dress..especially one that’s this cute and marked down! This Trina Turk dress is so elegant but still has a touch of sexy with the open peep in the back and v-cut! I purchased this dress from Sassy Boutique to wear on Christmas Eve..knowing that it would be a forever LBD staple in my closet and I can’t wait to get more use out of it!
Any who, Shotguns & Seashells is officially one! I want to thank all of my followers who have supported me and kept coming back to read more and to see what I style next! My friends and family for being there for me and the photographers who make time for me in their busy schedules! As well as, all of the companies that I have collaborated with. Without all of the love and support from everyone I wouldn’t have been able to do it!
A special thanks to my blogging bestie, Fast Foodie for helping me celebrate!

Y’all I had the best day ever with my food blogging friend, Fast Foodie US. We took a break from school yesterday and pretended like it didn’t exist and explored Historic Downtown Northport. I have been to Northport plenty of times to eat at one of my favorite places, City Cafe but Parker (Fast Foodie US) had never, until yesterday. So, why not take her there for some great food, giggles and blogging. City Cafe is the place you go to when you want some good ole southern cooking plus it’s quick and the portions are huge. My meal was under $8 and you should of seen the amount of food I got. After lunch we went to Mary’s Cakes & Pastries which is tucked away behind the main street, it was adorable and smelled like a little slice of heaven. We each had a cupcake shot, I got plain Vanilla and Parker got coconut, both so yummy! We strolled some more and came across a fun spot to take pictures, obviously y’all saw above. We also stopped in some antique stores and stopped into a boutique where I got the cutest pair of wedges for $15…kid you not! The best part…they now have a salon called the The Beauty Bar..they do blow outs for $15..you know where to find me!
If you want more food details you’re going to have to check out Fast Foodie US
My girlfriends and I hit the town on Thursday night to do a little wine tasting at the local wine bar in Tuscaloosa called Carpe Vino! We got to try 6 different wines: 3 whites and 3 reds for just $10. I can’t say I’m a white wine fan but I did love all of the reds. It’s definitely a place I’ll be going back to and I highly recommend it! They accommodated about 15 of us and allowed us to bring a cheese plater and a birthday cake since we were celebarting a friends birthday!
For a better recap check out Fast Foodie US ! Parker is my right hand gal for all things yummy!
So y’all remember back in June when my friend Fast Foodie US came to town (I know- another late post). Well, she came and we dinned and wined the night away. We started off with cocktails at Quail Valley River Club, dinner at the Ocean Grill and of course, drank more wine at Blue Star Wine Bar to finish the night off. We had too much fun when she was in town so be sure to be on the lookout for the post on her blog soon.
