Here’s to kicking off summer! I’m officially home in Florida for 3 weeks before I go back to Alabama for one more class before I move to NYC in August. If y’all haven’t heard yet, I will be interning in NYC for the fall semester with Tibi and I’m vey excited! If you’re from NYC I’d love to hear about some of your favorite things to do in the city. I’ll be doing a lot of exploring on my days off.
Now to the Lilly For Target jumpsuit…y’all I woke up at 7am and went to the local Target at 7:30 waiting in line with 40 other people. Luckily, I was close enough in line to the point where I was actually able to get a decent amount of items including this jumpsuit. I LOVE it!

p.s. More blog photos coming next week…sorry for slacking it’s been an extremely busy end of the semester for me! I LOVE Y’ALL and thanks for sticking with me!
Stars, stripes and whiskey. What more is there to say? I love throwing on a t-shirt, shorts and a pair of sandals. I obviously love being comfortable and casual, I mean honestly..what could possibly be better?. Especially when you’re running around doing errands. I am by no means “grunge” or have a grunge like style but I loved the quote and holes on this shirt so I decided to step outside my box and get it.
I woke up this morning in a extremely casual and simple mindset when it came to getting ready..so to add some life to my simply chic white look I added on some statement pieces! Necklace, lips and bracelets- they all added a pop to my white look! I also just so happened to get to stop in at Otter Brown today to see the lovely Carley Ochs, who is the master mind behind these beautiful Bourbon & Boweties bracelets!
I love navy, I love turquoise and I love summer. How great is this necklace from LB Collections? It’s called the “Palm Beach”…so appropriate for this Florida girl. I love pairing a bold color with something neutral like navy. This look is simple but still chic. I hope y’all are having a great week!
Besides being addicted to cowboy boots and nail polish, I also happen to be slightly addicted to bikinis. Since I grew up in Florida I can honestly say that I was in a bikini at least 75% of my childhood, and until I was about 6 I didn’t wear tops (one pieces were never an option in my book either). I still continue to be in a bikini 75% of the time when I’m home but clearly I wear tops now. Summer or winter it doesn’t matter the season — as long as the sun is out! I love nothing more than soaking up the sun and getting vitamin D.
After all getting a tan is the best medicine around!
I had the honor of being asked to do a feature in the University of Alabama yearbook, The Corolla. The lovely Brooke Searcy, who is the Greek Editor shot my photos and she also happens to have a personal style, lifestyle blog called In a World of Bees, There’s Me. Shooting for The Corolla was so much fun because I was able to show my personal style on the Alabama campus! We also shot in front of the President’s Mansion which is absolutely gorgeous! I shared my favorite trends with Brooke and more details on my personal style as well as why I dress the way I do!

These jeans are one of my favorite purchases from last years Lilly Pulitzer Summer Collection! They are so much fun and make me so happy whenever I wear them (yes, a pair of pants can make me that happy). I am even thinking about wearing them for Easter, but I think I’ll probably change my mind and wear a dress. Neons are always in for summertime so start looking for your favorite neon look! Whether it’s a pair of jeans, a bikini, or nail polish you should be rocking neon this summer.
