This summer we have seen the pool float trend literally take over pools. I’ve jumped on board and grabbed myself a strawberry icing donut float and now I’m contemplating grabbing a pretzel float (one of my favorite snacks BTW) and a flamingo float! I mean I am from Florida so I do spend a majority of my time floating around in the pool on the weekends!
Here’s a little color to brighten your day! Miserable rainy day here in Tuscaloosa…I’ve spent it laying in bed sick catching up on homework. Having a total case of the Mondays! But I figured this adorable Three Islands Clothing dress could bring in some colorful happiness. I paired it with my favorite basic neutrals: Kendra Scott Earrings, Gigi New York Clutch and Rebecca Minkoff rock studs. I have on the Julie Dress in Gulf Green Plaid it’s the MUST HAVE dress at only $76! It has an elastic waist band..notice in the pictures and an adorable v-neck with a lot of stretch! It’s going to be a great summer dress!
I wasn’t kidding in my instagram when I said I’ll be in this romper all summer long…and the sandals too. This romper is going to be perfect for going out or even wearing as a beach cover up…and the sandals. I’ll probably wear them out in a month because I will wear them nonstop. Plus, they are $125 and SO CUTE. I’m deciding on if I should get the pair in black too!
Be sure to check out the Wednesday link up below!!
Here are my four favorite ways to wear a blanket scarf: in a knot /bow, the original scarf look, like a wild west cowboy or like a shawl. To be honest these scarves are so large that it is hard to figure out how to work with them so I suggest practicing!
Valentine’s Day is 12 days away so I did y’all a little favor and rounded up some great gifts for him and her under $50! If you missed out on my post from a few weeks ago here are separate and a little bit nicer gift guides for him and for her!
Slowly transitioning into spring with a soft blue like ice blue is a great way to stay on trend! I paired my ice blue sweater with light washed distressed jeans and some camel colored booties! So far the weather this week in Alabama has been really nice…I wish it would stay in the 60’s year round!
What color are you crushing on for a spring transition look?
I can’t help but drool over how pretty the view is behind me in these photos. I spent Christmas Day at my Grandma’s house and I always love to go out on her dock and take in the view! Not many people are this lucky to stare out at the river everyday including myself. Growing up my brother and I’s favorite thing to do when we would get home from a family vacation would be driving over the 17th Street bridge and just looking out at the ocean… I always instantly feel right at home when I drive over the bridge!
Here’s my final look for the summer, a cute two piece by Mink Pink! Sorry it’s selfie version but now that I’m back at school it’s hard to find someone that is available to take pictures of me that will fit both of our schedules. Bare with me for a little while…
Also, you can get this ENTIRE look for under $115…minus the sunglasses. Everything is ON SALE!
Stars, stripes and whiskey. What more is there to say? I love throwing on a t-shirt, shorts and a pair of sandals. I obviously love being comfortable and casual, I mean honestly..what could possibly be better?. Especially when you’re running around doing errands. I am by no means “grunge” or have a grunge like style but I loved the quote and holes on this shirt so I decided to step outside my box and get it.
