This summer we have seen the pool float trend literally take over pools. I’ve jumped on board and grabbed myself a strawberry icing donut float and now I’m contemplating grabbing a pretzel float (one of my favorite snacks BTW) and a flamingo float! I mean I am from Florida so I do spend a majority of my time floating around in the pool on the weekends!
I snagged this adorable banana leaf romper for $25 from Old Navy a few weeks ago. It also comes in an orange, pink and black pattern and it took me a good bit to decide what color combo I wanted to get! Banana leafs and palms are trending big time in the fashion world this summer if you haven’t noticed yet. I’ve seen the pattern on purses, pants and even finger nails.
What’s your favorite trend going on right now? I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Yep, Sassy Wednesday’s are coming back! So yay to everyone who remembers it from last summer and if you don’t here’s a brief description on Sassy Boutique:

They had a vision to bring exciting, fun and affordable resort clothing to our local town. They are continuously bringing in fresh new designers and have exclusivity on numerous lines, including Tory Burch, Milly, Trina Turk, Nanette Lepore, Mara Hoffman, Susana Monaco, Ray-Ban, Gigi New York, Southern Sequins, Alice & Trixie and many others.
In honor of National Wear Your Lilly Day tomorrow aka the first day of summer, I figured I’d share with y’all this adorable Lilly Pulitzer romper. It’s no secret that I’m a Lilly Pulitzer lover…I was born and raised in Florida….an hour from Lilly’s home! I’ve been wearing Lilly Pulitzer for as long as I can remember. My Mom still has all of the vintage dresses that were hers from the 80’s and my dresses from when I was a little girl. Not to mention my bedroom growing up was Lilly Pulitzer too!
Enjoy your weekend and don’t forget to wear Lilly Pulitzer tomorrow 🙂
I absolutely love summer…like freaking LOVE it. I love being hot, walking around in my flip flops and having a bikini on. I wish it was summer year round…so it must be a good thing that I’m from Florida. Something about summer though…and I’ll just leave it at that. Hope y’all enjoy my current summer MUST HAVES!
I honestly cannot pass up a good romper…like I love them. I’ve been catching myself shopping for them lately and I think it’s a serious problem. But I mean…rompers are cute and easy…they scream summertime and well, I just love them..okay?! I also LOVE my Southern Sequins tassel necklace named the “Chandler” after yours truly of course and it’s only $70! Another perfect summertime staple 🙂
p.s. if y’all haven’t noticed…I have brown hair now!
Last weekend Matt and I headed down to Orange Beach, AL for a little getaway from summer school! It was great…we got to relax and enjoy ourselves and spend time with just the two of us. We hadn’t seen each other in a month and won’t be getting to see each other that often for the rest of the year when I move to New York. So getting some quality time in at the beach was just what we needed!
Enjoy my outfit round up…a lot of these looks will be on the blog in the next two weeks!
