There is nothing we love more than Alabama football besides hunting for him and horses and fashion for me. So when I was approached by Taxidermy for their AMAZING new bow ties I just knew that we would be doing a game day post. Y’all have seen me do a post with their Mackie Tote in Orange here but getting to do a game day post is even better. Alabama football kicks off this weekend and although I was hoping to do this post sooner sometimes things just get in your way (like your computer crashing). Obviously, my favorite bow tie is the Red Alligator one (duh it’s red) and the Axis Deer. My favorite bags? I couldn’t even give you an answer because I absolutely love them all.
School has officially started back up and my computer has crashed just in time. What better way to treat yourself to the first week then buying some new supplies (and a new computer). I don’t have a desk in my room up at school, but if I did this is what it would be decorated with. I love a nice white desk with a giant comfy chair and simple accessories. Zhush is offering 20% off on all items during Labor Day weekend so get your booty shopping!

p.s. thanks for letting me borrow your computer Matt 🙂
I recently joined the rewardStyle team and I’m sure plenty of you have noticed my instagram posts that say “register here with #liketkit for more outfit details…etc, etc, etc”. Y’all this program is GENIUS. But seriously, if you are more iphone savvy and like to do instagram then this is the tool for you. It’s THREE simple steps..and all outfit details get sent straight to your email.
As I’m sure y’all noticed I finally turned 22 on Saturday and in case you were wondering if I felt 22…I definitely do. I feel old as dirt. I want to thank y’all for all the birthday wishes! I’m hoping this year will extra good to me 🙂
Here’s what is ironic about this post. It had literally just been raining and I finally had time to do a rainy day outfit post. Once I finally got ready and looked out the window- well what would ya know it stopped raining. So, what I hoped would turn into a cute rainy day post turned into a sunny day looking silly wearing rain gear post. I still wanted to take the pictures anyway..I didn’t get dressed up for nothing.
Stars, stripes and whiskey. What more is there to say? I love throwing on a t-shirt, shorts and a pair of sandals. I obviously love being comfortable and casual, I mean honestly..what could possibly be better?. Especially when you’re running around doing errands. I am by no means “grunge” or have a grunge like style but I loved the quote and holes on this shirt so I decided to step outside my box and get it.
So y’all remember back in June when my friend Fast Foodie US came to town (I know- another late post). Well, she came and we dinned and wined the night away. We started off with cocktails at Quail Valley River Club, dinner at the Ocean Grill and of course, drank more wine at Blue Star Wine Bar to finish the night off. We had too much fun when she was in town so be sure to be on the lookout for the post on her blog soon.
I always get excited when Raoul sends me some of their outfits to blog, I think that they are a one-of-a-kind line! This dress is a perfect go to work look or dinner outfit and the color is fabulous along with the circle hem! I have finally jumped on the tassel earring trend too. I love the ones that my friend, Southern Sequins gave me! They are the perfect earrings for Alabama game days. Be on the look out for my next Raoul Pre-Fall look because it is literally perfect for game days!
Also, sorry for being MIA but I just got back to Tuscaloosa on Wednesday so I have been trying to unpack plus I have sorority rush! ((so bare with me & RUSH ZTA))
Another summer has come and gone, and I can’t believe it. I think for the most part a lot of y’all know that I am a horsey girl. I have been for as long as I could walk and Scout (my horse) has been in my life since I was 8 and I’m going on 22 in just a few weeks. Every summer, I come home to do what I love and that’s riding and being surrounded by Scout and even more horses. This summer has kept me busier than ever with blogging, working, daily horse responsibilities and an online class. I will admit that 3 months flew by faster than they usually do and I am beside myself about leaving and going back to school. Saying bye to my horse is my absolute least favorite goodbye aside from my family and this year it seems harder than ever. I am so beyond blessed for all of the support and amazing opportunities my family allows me to do which I think makes it so hard.
Alright time to stop being emotional and get to the point.
I figured I would share with y’all an equestrian outfit post..and show y’all a side of me you have really never seen. I had the pleasure of shooting with my friend Kelsey of Natural Flash Images! This is something I do every summer with Scout now that we are both getting older (Scout is 20). I love to look back on these memories and photos to see how we both change. I could seriously ramble on all day about horses but I don’t want to bore y’all…
I put on a fancy pair of blue jeans, my best jewels, one of my favorite tops and of course, one of my many pairs of cowboy boots! I think I have told y’all plenty of times how O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D I am with cowboy boots. And yes, I call them cowboy boots..they are NOT cowgirl boots. The term “cowgirl boots” is my #1 pet peeve besides chipped nails, it’s a pretty close tie. I hope y’all enjoyed my horsey/fashion photoshoot 🙂
After all Scout is the Shotguns to my Seashells.
I met Scout on a hot summer day 14 years ago, he thought my hair was hay and the rest was history after that
