I had the honor of being asked to do a feature in the University of Alabama yearbook,  The Corolla. The lovely Brooke Searcy, who is the Greek Editor shot my photos and she also happens to have a personal style, lifestyle blog called In a World of Bees, There’s Me. Shooting for The Corolla was so much fun because I was able to show my personal style on the Alabama campus! We also shot in front of the President’s Mansion which is absolutely gorgeous! I shared my favorite trends with Brooke and more details on my personal style as well as why I dress the way I do!

For more information on my outfits and interview you can purchase The Corolla here

Also, don’t forget to follow The Corolla on twitter and instagram @uacorolla

  3. Hi SS!

I somehow stumbled across your blog while looking for reviews of Keds this evening. I am looking at purchasing my very first pair! I have read all sorts of stories on various websites about Keds making feet really sweaty so I have been hesitant to buy a pair myself. Has this been your experience with Keds or are your feet always dry when you wear them?

Fantastic website, by the way! You have a new fan!

    Sarah.

      • Thank you for the excellent feedback! I have never owned a pair of Keds, so your feedback is really appreciated. I am not sure if it is because I am partly obsessive-compulsive, but I have such an intense fear of my feet sweating! I am not a sock person, so I definitely think I will wear my Keds without socks when I buy them. I am still deciding what particular style of Keds I like best!

Next time you wear your Keds on a hot day, can you double check there is definitely no sweat or smell? I have lousy genetics when it comes to foot sweat (thanks, Dad!), so I am really particular (fussy!) about what shoes I buy and I absolutely love the look of Keds. Thank you! Have a great weekend.
