I originally grabbed this t-shirt dress from Target to wear for work and that I do but I also wear it outside of work. It’s honestly one of my favorite dresses in my closet right now because it’s so easy to wear and style and it’s comfortable. I also don’t know if y’all know this or not but I’m now managing a hair and nail salon called Polished in Vero Beach. If you’re ever in the area please stop in and get a service done!
I found this dress when I was up in North Carolina a few weeks ago… (actually my “fairy godmothers” aka my Moms besties the sweetest blonde ladies ever got it for me as a birthday present). When I saw it and put it on I knew I would be wearing it all fall long not to mention how comfortable it is. Also, these booties come in about 10 different colors and I love them. Cut outs and slits are going to be a big bootie trend this fall (now that sounds weird) LOL.
With summer quickly coming to an end everywhere BUT Florida…I figured I’d share with y’all my favorite coverup and pom pom beach bag.
I’ve seen so many fall looks and I’ve been nothing but envious of them. However, I still go outside in a tank top and jeans and I still sweat…so fall looks will be coming rather slowly and styled very Florida-ishy. After all, this is my first fall living in Florida with a fashion blog!
I haven’t picked out something elephant pattern in FOREVER. When I went away to The University of Alabama everyone would always give me elephant items and I started to strongly dislike the print on anything. But when I saw this elephant pattern Lilly Pulitzer romper I couldn’t pass it up. I was shocked by my decision and so was my own Mother. I love the vibrant coral straps along with the blue hues in it and the neckline. Def a must for me…
This is one of those white tops that I saw and HAD to have…it’s also one of those that I will probably keep in my closet for a long time and get a lot of wear out of. It’s simple and elegant and goes great with any pair of jeans or jean shorts. My kind of style.
I’ve been up in Wolf Laurel, North Carolina since Wednesday and let me tell you the weather has been spectacular up here in the mountains. We used to come up here and visit every summer when I was younger to see my grandparents but we haven’t been back in over 8 years since my grandparents sold their house. It’s brought back so many great memories and created so many new ones. Briar even got to tag along on this trip. We have been hiking, white water rafting, horseback riding and playing in creeks. Even went into Asheville one day to shop which is when I got this top.
Briar is 10 months old now y’all. She just keeps on growing and growing…I wish she’d stop. She is 64 pounds and the sweetest black lab. She’s been a little naughty lately though…like running around when it’s time to go in the kennel and eating one of mommy’s shoes. Aside from those things she LOVES the beach…swims out in the waves, loves to go to the barn, loves to play with other dogs, to say hi to everyone AND she LOVES to play fetch. Even though I have a horrible aim and often end up throwing her toys on the roof. Yea…I’ve done it a lot lately. So naturally, when I saw this My Kids Have Paws t-shirt I HAD to have it. Even though my other kid has hooves…..
